We are a Year 3 and Year 4 class.
Our teacher is Miss Smith.
This term our topic is Prehistoric Britain. We have been learning about the Stone Age and how people from this time period survived.
During science we have been developing our skills as scientists and ensuring that we are working scientifically. This involves us conducting fair and accurate tests. We created paper sycamore seeds and tried to make them fall to the ground as quickly as possible by using paperclips to weigh them down.
We also used a variety of materials to create an egg protector. This involved us wrapping eggs in tinfoil, kitchen roll, cotton wool or paper and dropping them from a height of 2m. It was very messy work but someone had to do it!
This year, Year 3 and 4 are Archie Project Ambassadors! Every Wednesday, a small group of us walk down to Reminiscence learning where we meet people who have Dementia. We get to have a chat with them and play a variety of games.
